Wendy grew up in Albuquerque, NM. She moved to Texas to attend Texas Tech University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. After several years of working in office equipment sales, she returned to school to pursue her love of medicine.
Wendy graduated from Collin College with her associate's degree in Nursing. She later returned to school and earned her bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Texas in Arlington.
Wendy worked at a local hospital for 13 years in the neurosciences department, progressive care unit, and emergency department. While there, she became a board-certified emergency nurse.
Wendy chose to expand her horizons. She began working as a surgical nurse in an outpatient surgical center. While there, she completed her Family Nurse Program at Texas Woman’s University.
Wendy has a deep appreciation for Natural Choice Pediatrics since her children became patients when the practice opened. She is thrilled to be a part of the practice, which has changed her outlook on healthcare.
Wendy lives in Frisco and is married to her college sweetheart. They have two children in middle school and two dogs. When she’s not chauffeuring her children to their activities, she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and perusing the aisles of the nearest home improvement store.
